354 suffered from being a Ford 6.0 diesel. 800 err.. 355 is a 1996 and always was a strong runner on those tollway runs to Loyola

They are, or have purchased a new ambulance. Don’t know when the delivery date is. Thought I heard they purchased a Braun. It will replace Ambulance 354, which has a recent blown engine.

There has been talk for some time that all departments in Div 20 would change numbers to be numerically in order. It had to possibly do with a CAD thingy with Norcomm, although not all departments are dispatched by them. Some have changed while the rest have not, awaiting a real reason to do so. Berkeley did change to #35, but have now changed back. It seems like there is no numerical order for those that have changed, just what they felt like?
Schiller Park – #5 & #6
Broadview – #7 (After the Old Battalion 7, prior to formation of Div 20)
Bensenville – #17 & #18
Stone Park – #21 & #22
Westchester – #25 & #26

Berkeley is remaining with their 350-series numbering that is on the rigs. Chief 350, Engines 351 & 352, Ambulances 354 & 355, Car 356.
