Larry Shapiro stopped by the Linclonshire-Riverwoods FPD to get photos of the new unit for Engine 52 which was scheduled to be put into service on Friday (8-2-13).

I can’t quite make out the engine brand on the yellow sticker so could someone please confirm? PIERCE is the only buider that offers DETROIT and CUMMINS engines otherwise I wouldn’t ask.

the engine is listed as DD13 & trans as 4000EVS

Sharp looking pumper. That ARROW XT seems to be a popular choice. That same basic cab design has been part of PIERCE just about forever under a few different model names.
