Around 12:45 Tuesday, companies responded to the 3400 block of West Madison for a fire in a 150 x 125 u-shaped courtyard apartment building. The fire was in a second floor unit and was held in check as responding companies made a quick knock. One resident was transported by Ambulance 10 in good condition. Engine 44 and Truck 26 were working in sector 3 while Engine 95 and Truck 36 were working in sector 1.

Excellent photos, Eric. No need to post to SmugMug. Four or five good ones that “capture the moment” or “the story”, are in my opinion, far better than several hundred. Keep up the awesome work!

It looks like the unit was in the back and was the smoke coming out of the window in the first picture the stairwell?

Thanks again Dan. I do not post on smugmug. I only post a few of my shots here and intend to keep it that way. I prefer to keep most of my photos between myself and the person in the photo. If I get good individual shots of a company or a guy working, I usually give them a copy. Thanks for asking and thanks again for your kind remarks.
