A fire engine from the Rutland-Dundee Fire Company in Gilberts, IL is being donated to the Moonachie Fire Department in Bergen County, NJ after they lost several vehicles during Hurricane Sandy. The engine passed through Bucks County on Wednesday morning where it was unloaded from a train car at an SMS Rail Lines loading dock in Falls Township.

Northfield MVA 12-26-12
Dec 26
Tim Olk submitted images from a motor vehicle accident today at the intersection of Willow and Waukegan Roads. Units responded from Northfield, Northbrook, and Glenview.
Northbrook firefighters responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident on Techny Road during a lake-effect storm on Christmas day. Initial reports cited two unresponsive patients in the car that collided with a utility pole. Firefighters transported both to the hospital.
Tim Olk was nearby and submitted several images from the scene.
Tim Olk went into the North Palos FPD on Christmas and submitted several images from a house fire in Palos Hills.
The Palos Patch posted this:
A family of six had to be evacuated from their Palos Hills home after a chimney fire sparked a blaze in the attic on Christmas Day, officials said.
No one was injured in the fire in the 104th block of 84th Avenue in Palos Hills, but the home is unhabitable, said North Palos Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Rocky Carlson.
Carlson said he believes the family went to stay with other family members. The call came in at about 1:43 p.m. Tuesday and firefighters got it under control somewhere between 15 minutes and a half an hour, he said.
