OAK BROOK fire department has changed their apparatus in accordance with the dupage county fire alliance and DuComm renumbering . OAK BROOK Station 1 has become 94 and Station 2 is 93. They are supposed to switch to DuComm fire east in the near future .

DUCOMM was testing still and box tones on thursday. so the switchover must be soon.

Where I work, we went through the same thing about 20 years ago. One of the best things we ever did. It was crazy having multiple engines with the same number on scene.

your right and listening to 903 rattle on for 5 min about a nothing call is very old!

The only good thing that came out of the switch, is that we don’t have to listen to Tri- State saying “all belted” 50 times a day !!! It was getting so old.
