A reader came across this image and is asking for help identifying the two people with Bobby Hull as he is receiving a Chicago Fire Commissioner helmet.

Can’t identify the men in the photos but that is Commissioner Quinn’s second helmet. He had two. He mostly wore the old, battered, half melted one with the eagle but he also had this one. I’ve seen it before in media photos and even advertisements from the era. My guess is Quinn let Bill Quinn, the head of media services, loan it out for photo ops.

Pretty sure that’s Bill Wirtz on the right…
