Fire Service, Inc. congratulates Chief Gary Krienitz and the Aurora Fire Department on the recent delivery of their latest Wheeled Coach Type 1 Ford F450 4×4 ambulance. This is the 8th Wheeled Coach Type I purchased by Aurora, finalizing the conversion of the entire AFD front line EMS fleet. The consistency of their custom interior design is enhanced with the Stryker Power Load system, and the conversion of the interior cabinetry to be CN-10 compliant. The IMMI Per4Max restraints offer fully retractable straps without sacrificing comfort and restriction. With the patented Cool Bar HVAC system and Whelen LED interior and exterior lighting and warning systems, Aurora remains prepared to offer their community consistent and safe EMS transportation for all missions. Fire Service, Inc. would like to congratulate Chief Derek Bergsten and the City of Rockford Fire Department on their recent delivery of two 2019 Wheeled Coach Type 1 F450 4×4 ambulances. These are the 15th and 16th Wheeled Coach units Fire Service, Inc. has provided to Rockford Fire. Rockford has incorporated a custom designed unit, affording the exterior storage to accommodate the suppression needs as well as interior accommodations to provide the highest level of Advanced Life Support within their city. These units have driver and passenger side SCBA/ turnout gear storage, Whelen warning systems (including M Series LED exterior warning and flood lighting, Whelen dual amp and Howler Siren and interior LED lights), Stryker Power Load systems, Stryker Power XT Cots and stair chairs, Hanscom driver back up and interior module cameras, Knox Med Vault, Dometic temperature controlled medication drawer, IMMI Per4Max restraint systems, and Paramedic Design acrylic organizers. With KKK Change notice 10 interior cabinets, patented Wheeled Coach Cool Bar HVAC system, and a full reflective graphic package, these urban Type I ambulances are ready for an EMS mission ready response. Congratulations to the Bolingbrook , IL Fire Department on the delivery of their latest Wheeled Coach type 1 ambulance. This unit has substantial safety and operational improvements to help them meet their mission. This ambulance is built fully compliant with Change Notice 8 and 10, featuring upgraded interior cabinetry and closures designed for crash stability and the safety of interior occupants. The Stryker Power Load system serves both the medics with proven reduction in lifting injuries and retains the patient in the event of an accident. Finally each side has structural gear and SCBA compartments. And introducing to this agency a curbside sliding door to assist in the safety zone for the medics. On the Ford F550 4×4 chassis, with full Whelen LED warning and interior lighting packages and the patented Cool Bar HVAC system, Bolingbrook has made a significant investment in providing their community with the safest, most value driven emergency EMS apparatus possible. Congratulations and a big Thank You to Fire Chief Jeffery Springer and the members of the Chicago Heights IL Fire Department on the delivery of their new 2018 Wheeled Coach, Type 1 Ambulance. This new unit is their third recent purchase and will be a welcome addition to their busy EMS fleet. This 2018 F-450 4×2 chassis comes complete with Liquid Sping suspension system, Custom Coolbar, All LED Emergency and Interior Lighting, Compartment Strip Lighting, Custom Interior configuration etc. Radios, Computer docking stations, monitor mounts, PAC tool brackets and fire extinguishers were also installed prior to final delivery. Lettering and Striping was professionally installed by Strypes Plus More. This unit was sold by Pete Lombardi.
