HFPD responded to a residential house fire around 2:30pm on 6/21 in Station 2’s still district. On arrival crews had heavy fire showing from the charlie side and extending to the 2nd floor/attic. Crews made a quick knockdown despite the warm weather.

Huntley FPD units arrived with heavy fire from the attached garage of a two-story residential building. The fire was knocked down quickly by E944 and E142 assisting with foam for the vehicle.

Firefighters responded to 132 S. Harris Dr. in Rockdale before 4 p.m. on Friday for a fire. The building houses Polar Service Center, a commercial parts and repair and facility. More than 100 semis were on the property at the time, many of them catching fire.
When Rockdale
first responderspolice officers and firefighters arrived on scene, a portion of the building was already engulfed in flames, and they entered the building and rescued those still inside.The official cause of the fire hasn’t been determined, but authorities said a semi parked near the building caught fire and eventually the flames spread to the building.

CLFRD arrived with smoke and fire through the roof of the banquet hall on Route 41 at Route 31 around 2am, fire was marked under control at 5:15am. 2nd alarm off box 5-341 was requested with CLFRD Tower 381, Algonquin LITH Truck 181, Wauconda Tower 341, and McHenry Tower 1281 all flowing their master streams in a defensive fire.

Aurora had a working garage fire in Engine 7’s still on Gladstone Ave around 3:30pm on 3/14/22. Internal 2nd alarm was requested. Also a photo of the new Truck 2 for AFD

McHenry requested a box alarm for a heavily involved single-story frame (12/3/21) around 7:30pm on Thomas Ct in Holiday Hills. Crews made an aggressive interior attack then had to back out to go defensive due to heavy involvement in the attic.
