The Matteson Fire Department responded to a house fire late this morning at 946 Princeton. When the fire came in, companies were reportedly occupied on other calls and requested mutual aid right away. Upon arrival, they were met by heavy fire from the second floor of the two-story house. The fire was upgraded to a 2nd Alarm Box Alarm. Units at the fire were from Matteson, Frankfort, Tinley Park, Park Forest, Flossmoor, Richton Park, Crete FPD, Chicago Heights, Oak Forest, and Country Club Hills.
