This list is modified often, but we understand there may be some mistakes / apparatus that have moved to other stations. If anyone notices anything that needs to be fixed please let me know.

We would like to introduce you to the New 3117. This is a 3500-gallon tender for rural response (without fire hydrants), replacing a 1989 tender. It was built right here in Illinois by Alexis Fire Equipment Company. We thank our salesperson Dan, for a great experience! Our next steps are fitting it with all its equipment and training our members on its usage. We hope to have it in full service soon.

The funeral procession for fallen Chicago Police Officer Luis Huesca.The funeral was held Monday, April 29th at St. Rita of Cascia Shrine Chapel on Chicago’s South Side, followed by an interment at Rosehill Cemetery on the city’s North Side.The law enforcement vehicle procession traveled north along the Dan Ryan Express, the Stevenson Expressway and LSD.

Here are some shots from the Forest View FD. They recently placed their older Pierce engine back in service after a complete rehab by Alexis Fire Equipment. Engine 8 is running frontline, while Engine 81 (X-Stone Park) is their reserve engine.
