Oh I see now. Lack of a famous MERCEDES BENZ badge should have tipped me off. Thanks.

Ours was built by Stewart and Stevenson in Texas.

Not a Mercedes Unimog… FMTV is based on the Austrian Steyr 12 M 18 (4×4) truck, but substantially modified to meet U.S. Army requirements that included a minimum 50% US content. The original 15 FMTV prototypes were assembled in Austria and while based on the 12 M 18 chassis-cab, were fitted with a number of US-supplied/specification components including a Caterpillar diesel engine, Allison automatic transmission and Meritor drive axles

It is not a Unimog, it is made right here in the US by Stewart and Stevenson. It had a Cat Motor and Allison Automatic Trans.
We kept the tank size small for a few reasons:
Vehicle height and center of gravity
High pressure pump is only 10 gpm (think pressure washer)
Maintain an adequate anount of bed space for rescue and evac operations
Limit weight for off road operations

Seems like a small tank for such a big brute. Nice rig though

Not sure but is that a MERCEDES BENZ UNIMOG?
Those a pretty rare over here.
