This from Dennis McGuire, Jr.:
The Alsip FD was toned out for a fire at 12813 Kenneth this evening and arrived to heavy smoke from a 2 sty Ordinary condo building 50×75. First engine laid a lead to the hydrant and advanced 2 lines into the structure making a quick knock on the fire. Command did elevate the alarm to a full still but struck it out 10 minutes later.Companies on Scene:Oak LawnPalos HeightsBlue IslandNorth Palos

Hat’s off to the Crestwood aerial’s positioning. I wasnt at the scene and dont know the exact conditions but that they backed in, positioned on a corner (allows sweep of two sides), went off the rear (which gives maximum reach and stability), and left the driveway open for others to access the site is terrific work. These photos are of great value to any aspiring aerial apparatus driver/operator.

Dennis, we would have seen each other. I was going to take this call in, but ended up going home to sleep. Nice photos.
