Tim Olk went into the North Palos FPD on Christmas and submitted several images from a house fire in Palos Hills.
The Palos Patch posted this:
A family of six had to be evacuated from their Palos Hills home after a chimney fire sparked a blaze in the attic on Christmas Day, officials said.
No one was injured in the fire in the 104th block of 84th Avenue in Palos Hills, but the home is unhabitable, said North Palos Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Rocky Carlson.
Carlson said he believes the family went to stay with other family members. The call came in at about 1:43 p.m. Tuesday and firefighters got it under control somewhere between 15 minutes and a half an hour, he said.

So sad. This is the house I grew up in with my parents and brother and sisters. Though my parents sold the house seven years ago it is very sad to see this. I”m glad nobody was hurt. Great job by the firemen !

Hey Tim nice pics at the Full Still! FYI: North Palos Engine 813 is not an ex Worth engine, as it was custom built for the district in 2002 along with Truck 804. Engine 823 and Reserve Engine 833 are the ex Worth rigs.
