Multi-vehicle MVA in Wheeling, 3-10-24

Wheeling and Prospect Heights firefighters transported five patients to area hospitals from a three-car MVA Sunday night on Route 83 at Jenkins Court. All three Wheeling ambulances were at the scene along with Battalion 24, both Wheeling engines, and Prospect Heights Ambulance 9.

  What is the Wheeling staffing on any given day? How many fire suppression apparatus? How many ambulances? What is the staffing on each? Is there cross staffing?
