That would make the most sense to keep the Spartain as a spare. The new engine is currently in production at Pierce. Which company will the new engine go to 81 or 82? Once the new engine arrives there will be only one Palatine Company without a Pierce rig. Right now 82 has the Ferrara. I believe 81 might have the 2011 engine.

I think the Spartan is being kept as a spare.

I see they still have the old Elk Grove engine as a reserve still. Saw it in a video from about 10 days ago.
