Excerpts from cbsnews.com:
An extra-alarm fire broke out around 6:30 p.m. in a pallet yard at 25th and Rockwell streets Monday evening in Little Village prompting a 2-11 alarm. The wind Monday night made fighting the fire more difficult.
Ten hose lines were used at the fire which was contained to the pallet yard. The fire was under control by just after 8:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported.

No, they have the same districts as a tower ladder if I remember correctly. On this fire though they were R.I.T. and were put to work by Batt 14 and a second R.I.T. Truck was requested.

Nice to see shots of Aerial Tower 8 working at a fire! What is the official policy, do they only get called out if the fire is a 2-11 or larger?
