Obviously just a guess…and not likely given the area…but I’ve seen a number of people who use decommissioned armored vehicles as cheap emergency shelter option, rather than building an in-ground “bunker” or something similar. Obviously not endorsing the efficacy of the practice, just a thought.

I was wondering about the truck too. Looks like a 1980’s vintage FORD and probably sitting there dead for quite some time.
