I think the committee was smart in going with a mid -mount due to all the viaducts and clearance issues in and around BI. Very interested to see it in action. Wonder if they’ll miss the bucket. Seeing a raised roof cab on a mid mount reduces scrub area slightly over the front 45 degrees. FDNY does it, so must not be a major concern.

I believe this will be one of the few if any Sutphen straight aerials in the area.Sutphen builds quality apparatus and I’m sure this one will be a perfect example.I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product………
