I have several CORGI fire apparatus and buses. I like the 1:50 scale but I had heard they scaled back some years ago.
If there’s a market for those, all the more power to them. If people ware willing to pay that much so be it.

That’s 1,000.00 worth of models. Fire Replica’s turned collecting into an expensive hobby!! Their quality blows anything Code 3 did in their day. I just hope that the market doesn’t tank on them. I haven’t seen Corgi advertise any new products. Fire Replica’s smart, they only produce a small amount of a particular model and when it’s gone it’s gone. John
