A big Thank You to the Bloomington Fire Department, and the City of Bloomington, for loaning us a ladder truck to use while ours is out-of-service following the traffic accident last Sunday. Don’t be alarmed when you see the Bloomington ladder truck responding to calls in Decatur the next couple of months.

Decatur runs two 75ft sticks and a 100ft rear mount. No issues with driving this truck.

How old is this truck? I believe this is the truck that the 2019 Pierce ascendant replaced. At least it will give them a Tower ladder to operate. I believe the truck the stick they currently are using is a 75 foot stick. At least they will now have a 100ft tower ladder.
Drivers really need to pay attention when they are around emergency scenes. I hope the people who hit these trucks were given a ticket for Scott’s law violations.
