The Milwaukee Fire Department battled a fourth alarm fire Friday afternoon at Aguilar’s Welding on West National Avenue near South 14th Street. Plumes of smoke were visible from Interstate 94. Extreme heat and hazardous building contents were making it hard for firefighters to extinguish the fire.
