BMurphy, when did Mooseheart disband their fire department? I remember growing up in the area they would act as a change of quarters for most larger incidents in the tri-cities. That was pretty much the only time you really ever hear about the department.

I remember they held the emergency vehicle show there back in 2009. Great setting for that.

Mooseheart still owns this rig as a showpiece/events vehicle. Used to run a neat little private fire brigade with some decent rigs, at least one of which was acquired from Batavia. Fire and EMS are now provided by Batavia, with auto-aid on most calls from North Aurora.
Mooseheart continues to do amazing things for underprivileged and orphaned kids. Next Christmas time be sure to bring your small donation and and drive through their fantastic holiday lights show throughout the campus.
