Also glad to see black over red on buggies. We have to keep some tradition like the red and green lights.

The all red ones are leased so couldn’t be painted black.

I got news for you Harry. If you live long enough, you’ll be old too.
I guess I’m a 53 year old “Old Man” since I have had my ’04 MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS for just over 14 years now and still love it to death.
They were good solid cars but FORD wanted to go toward the SUV and CUV type vehicles as a substitute for the traditional bigger sedan. There is the TAURUS but most seem to like the EXPLORER instead.
I would imagine that if FORD had kept the CROWN VICTORIA in production, it would have likely been an all V6 engine line up turbo and non turbo given that FORD seems obsessed with turbocharging. Look at the EXPEDITION no V8 only ECOBOOST V6 and the F150 has a V8 but most of them don’t have that option now.

I don’t it really matters wheather they are all red or black over red I know it is tradion but it does not matter to me as for the cv they were old people cars terrible in snow while they may have been roomy I still don’t feel comfortable in cars i am not a big person either but i prefer trucks

Great to see the black over red ,back. The solid red was unecessary but at least the mistake is being corrected by ordering the next batch of buggies in Chicago black over red.

Not bad but I’m still mad at FORD for discontinuing the CROWN VICTORIA/MERCURY GRAND MARQUIS twins.
But I guess public safety seems to like the FORD EXPLORER since they seem to be all over the place now.
