I would guess that if they already had ARROW XT’s in the fleet and they like them, they may just as well get something everybody is familiar with. Why disrupt things with something new and different unless the product is discontinued otherwise why give the impress that you may be crazy by changing for the heck of it?

Nice engine. Frankfort has some nice looking rigs. Can’t wait to see that on the new site.

The Arrow XT cab is the narrowest in the business per Pierce literature. It is listed as 94.5″ wide. An Enforcer/Saber is 96″ wide and the Impel/Velosity is 100″ wide. Considering that one can order a big block motor in the Enforcer or Velosity, and firefighters are always asking for more room in the cab, I sometimes wonder why the Arrow XT was selected by apparatus committees.

Looks great. That old ARROW XT cab is still plugging along so there are still old school type demands for apparatus out there.
