Marengo Rescue provides non-emergent ambulance service on top of their 911 coverage. That’s what this ambulance will be used for.

You pretty much nailed it. There’s less storage, less space in the patient compartment. They are a lot more maneuverable and better on gas but otherwise the differences are the obvious ones you noted.

Besides the obvious differences (no box, less compartment space, smaller) what are the difference between a box style ambulance and a van style ambulance?
