Bedford Park’s snorkel essentially only runs out of town as it is due on many area departments’ box cards. In Berwyn, it is due on the deuce. N. Riverside’s Tower is supposed to be second truck as it is due auto aid on fire calls into Berwyn and I am guessing they needed water supply badly when they arrived on scene which is why they pumped but I was not on scene myself and am speculating based on my knowledge of these departments.

Very nice shots. Hope they had plenty of steaming hot coffee during and after that.

Why run the snorkel all the way from Bedford and put north riverside tower on a hydrant? Doesn’t make sense to me but I’m just an armchair quarterback. Why wouldn’t an engine co be put on the hydrant?
Just curious.
