One person is dead and two others are injured following a fire at the Gas-N-Wash gas station in the 3800 block of South Cicero in Stickney around 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
“One of the victims was out of the RV in front of the store. The other one was close to the car wash at that point. After interviewing him, we heard there was a third victim and that he did not make it out,” said Stickney Fire Chief Jeff Boyajian.

This piece of equipment will last 20-25 years.”The 107’ single-axle Ascendant quint will have an Enforcer cab & chassis with a 1500-GPM PUC pump. 12-24 months for delivery.

Stickney had a working fire Monday night at 7053 w 40th street. First Engine lead out a 2.5” and a 1.75” line right away on a large rubbish pile that got a 20×20 frame garage going a little. A Forest View engine and trucks from Central Stickney & Berwyn were auto aid.

1/24/21 – Around 6am this morning, Stickney Engine 1203 arrived to find a 1.5-sty, single-family house with smoke showing at 4225 Wenonah Avenue. 1203 lead out a 1.75” pre-connect and had a fire on the first floor. Here are some photos of the Box Alarm for the house fire in Berwyn at 3310 S Home Ave. The fire started at approx. 11:45 hours. Companies arrived on scene and reported heavy smoke and fire showing from the roof. The Box Alarm was initiated about 10 minutes into the incident. One victim was found deceased.
