Nice pix,
btw: love the new reflective stripes, anybody knows why they switched to this style now? I know it’s a trend in many departments but it’s kinda unusual to see these on a CFD gear after 10+ years of using the standard Scotchlites or whatever it was with the exposed silver stripe.

I would think it’s due to new visibility standards and requirements. Breaking up the stripe with the silver may make someone more visible. Not sure how much of a benefit it is because even with this gear and a vest on people still get focused on flashing lights and take out firefighters.
