This from Jason Bond:
Good Morning. Please find three pictures of apparatus from the muster yesterday. The weather was rainy but that didn’t dampen the nice time. I got to ride in that beautiful new PIERCE SABER. I think it’s nicer than some school buses I rode in in my life.Thank You again.Jason.

You’re welcome. I guess the CONCORDE while it had the looks that made it stand out in a good way, really wasn’t designed very well. I’ve heard the interior wasn’t well thought out. For some reason, SEAGRAVE never did well in the area of offering lower cost or just plain different chassis.
They seem to be in their element by offering one or two premium chassis and let the customer figure out what they want.

Crabby, thanks for the pics! Never seen the Concorde before, did some quick research on the web and it looks like Pittsburgh has some aerials (or at least one) on that chassis, really unique rig.

The Second photo is the ultra-rare Seagrave Concord custom chassis which was designed when Hebe became president of Seagrave after being forced out of ALF
He was in charge of ALF when the Eagle was designed, thus the similarities
very few produced, makes the Flame/Attacker look like a Camry in popularity

It should also be noted that PIERCE SABER is a brand new 2016. They were giving rides in it all day. I couldn’t believe how quiet that thing is especially with the engine right next to me in the officers seat. No shouting needed here. The instructor driving it was really impressed with it that PIERCE really built a nice rig here.
The SEAGRAVE CONCORDE is a 2006 but I was unable to get any more spec. data.

For some reason, my photos didn’t include the caption and my screen name.

The first picture is a 1940 CHEVROLET-DARLEY.
No, the second one is in fact a 100% SEAGRAVE. That’s a SEAGRAVE CONCORDE. The CONCORDE was introduced in 2004 and was not well received then discontinued about six or seven years later. So they are quite rare.
Ok now you know my real name but I’m still Crabby Milton.

Is the 2nd photo a Seagrave/American Lafrance custom, Because the chasis looks like an American Lafrance eagle, But the grill plate is a Seagrave.
