New engine for Berwyn

Wednesday I had the opportunity to shoot Berwyn’s new Pierce PUC that just entered into service. It is a short wheelbase, 2016 Pierce Enforcer PUC pumper with a 1,500-GPM pump and a 750-gallon water tank. Lots of thought and effort went into spec’ing this rig, with a lower hose bed and firefighter friendly compartments. Thanks to Lieutenant Tokarczyk and Crew! Enjoy

  Isn’t that the idea of the PUC is that it is a shorter wheelbase vehicle for narrower streets? Anyway it is still a sharp looking rig!

  I don’t know how much shorter you can make a wheelbase than what they have. This rig was specifically designed for the tight, narrow streets that Berwyn has. I don’t know the total length of the rig, but I do know, this is designated as a short wheelbase pumper

  Indeed it does appear to be a well balanced and thought out rig.
  Sharp looking too.
