michael: I think December is quite likely. Check out the “in process” site, they’re adding new pics regularly.

Josh are they delivering all 4 Squads as was originally mentioned or will it be only one or two Squads with the option of ordering more after the first are received? When the Squads were first ordered a few years ago there was a question as to whether all of them would be manufactured and delivered at once. By only delivering one or two at first it would give the CFD time to test and break them in so they would be able to see if any modifications need to be done as to my understanding this is supposed to be Rosenbauer’s first venture into manufacturing “Snorkel” type booms.

These new towers will be aluminum. The word on the street….The new squads will be here in Spring. Rosenbauer is building them… just sucks everything seems like its a secret.

Will the aerials be steel or aluminum. I think E-one offers steel ladders now. Whatever happened to the squad bid. That’s coming up on 3 years now and nothing new has been reported.
