Yes you are right, my apologies. It was a long time since seeing the Dixmoor rigs

Brian, Lansing Squad 109 is white with a black stripe. Don’t recall if the Dixmoor squad or engine 2403 had striping, but they did have an engine with a blue stripe. Their earlier rigs were plain white.

Lansing squad was (might still be) this color scheme. Dixmoor (before going over to Harvey) had an engine or squad that was white with a blue stripe.

Yes. I knew that Denver has white rigs as does New Haven, CT.
You pay that much you may as well get the color you want.

Rosemont and Glencoe are Public Safety Depts which explains the gun boxes

Hey Crabby while white and blue fire engines aren’t very common ,Denver Colorado has been running with white fire engines for many many years.

The ALF may go to the Northern Illinois Fire Museum Group.

Glencoe is not the only department with Gun boxes. Rosemont has them too and the rigs also have a box for long guns.

Which Engine are they going to sell. Will they sell the American LaFrance or will they sell the 1996 Pierce? Or will the 96 pierce be a reserve piece?
Which will they run with more the 2010 Pierce Squad or the brand new E-One

I believe that the ALF is going to a museum, perhaps the Aurora Fire Museum

I was visiting fire service a few weeks ago when they just recently took delivery of it. I was impressed with the layout of the Engine, especially the Pistol safe in the rear jump seat area. Not bad for a bunch of Cops. just kidding haha.

Looks good. May as well match the the police cars or come close.
I wonder if there is town someplace that has fire apparatus with white and blue stripes and police vehicles that are red? Wouldn’t be surprised.
