Attention! The East Joliet Fire Protection District will be taking applications for the position of Paid on Call/Candidate.
The application process with be for those looking to obtain their FF/Basic certificate through the State of Illinois. Certified personnel are also welcome to apply. Applications will be available starting at 7:00am Monday June 23, 2014 . There will be an application fee of $25.00. Applications must be picked up at East Joliet Fire Station #51 at 911 S. Briggs St. Joliet, IL 60433.
Complete applications must be returned no later than 12:00pm Tuesday, July 8th, 2014. Incomplete applications or applications turned in after 12:00pm on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 will not be accepted. Oral interviews will take place Wednesday, July 16, 2014 & Friday July 18, 2014 at East Joliet Fire Station #51 starting at 6:00pm each night. A mandatory orientation night for those chosen will take place on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 6:00pm at East Joliet Station #51, 911 S. Briggs St Joliet IL, 60433.

– U.S Citizen
– Must be between the ages of 18 and 50
– High School Diploma or G.E.D
– Live within 20 miles of district
– Valid State of Illinois Divers License
– No past felony convictions
