The Kankakee Township FPD is having an open house at Kankakee Township’s Fire Station #1 on Sept. 28. They will be displaying their new Engine 82 and commissioning it that day. Illinois State Marshal Larry Matkaitis will be making a “special” presentation that day at 11:00am. Food & drinks will be served and there will be special activities for the kids. This event will be from 11:00am to 2:00 pm.

I wouldn’t listen to Larry Maitkaitis read a newspaper. Apparently can’t get by on an $85,000 a year CFD pension earned screwing people, he’s had to get appointed State Fire Marshal to suck up another 6 figures.
