This from Drew Gresik:
I took in the Box Alarm in Berwyn Thursday night at 1509 Gunderson. Two people were taken to the hospital and heavy fire was seen on arrival. Command immediately upgraded the incident to a Full Still, and the Box was requested shortly after. Oak Park Tower 631 and Berwyn Truck 904 had elevated Master Streams. Berwyn Engines 902 and 903 dropped lines. Berwyn Quint 901, Cicero Engine 2, and Forest Park Engine 402 were all pumping in addition to the 2 Berwyn engines. It appeared the fire originated in the rear of the 1.5 story home. These are a few of my photos from the scene including Berwyn Engine 902 with several lines off, OKPK Tower 631 set up at 15th and Gunderson, Berwyn Truck 904 set up on 15th St., a view from the front of the fire building, Stickney Engine 1203, Cicero F-12 a 2012 Chevy Tahoe, Berwyn Quint 901 pumping at 16th and Elmwood for Truck 904’s aerial, and 2 view of the rear of the structure. Thanks,Drew Gresik

It was cold out there, they have been busy, we’ve almost been to Berwyn twice a week on fires

What the heck is going on in BERWYN, seems like they get a house fire every couple days. They should consider renaming the town to BERWYNWOOD, they are getting more action than MAYWOOD and BELLWOOD .
