The city of Chicago just signed a multi year contract with fire service inc For 3 airport rescue pumpers. They will be built on Cyclone Chassis with a 2000 GpM pump and a 1000 gallon water tank along with 250 gallons of foam.

From my understanding the 1990 E-one Engine, 1992 E-one Truck and Squad have all been sold.

Does anyone know if both of these trucks are in service? Also does Dar-Wood still have their squad?

PLeasantview ladder is black. i thought the nfpa outlawed black ladders due to not being able to see them at nigh. i read that somewhere it was due to a firefighters death, didnt see the ladder at a fire.

Just judging from the outside, looks like DarWood and PLVW’s trucks have pretty much the same spec. Did they order them together for a discount, like some departments do?
Just wondering, also considering their very-similar delivery dates, I find it hard to think it was a coincidence.
