Heavy flames and exploding propane tanks prompted a the 2-11 alarm and hazardous materials response at the large factory building in the 2800 block of West 48th Place.

Those are interesting shots of the 2-11 on 48th place. The shots were all great. Engine 50 currently is by far the oldest front line engine in service at nearly 17 years. It was originally assigned to Engine 89 on the north side. I wonder what happened to Tower Ladder 54, which normally would have been the second due tower ladder, were they using a spare (straight aerial ladder)?
