Dan McInerney submitted images of Engine 8 and Truck 4’s house in Chinatown. The house has squared off doors, whereas the image currently on the web site shows the original arched doors.

This is one of several firehouses built in 1936, and one of a few to be of the double bay type. The door lettering and gold accents were completed recently and in time for engine 8’s 150th anniversary.

The house looks really good (nice tuckpointing, lettering, and doors). Does anyone know how old the house is??
