Bill Freidrich tells us there are three new Spartan chassis on the lot at the factory in Charlotte, Michigan slated for Chicago.
- a chassis for a new engine going to the training academy (September completion)
- a chassis for a new 103′ rear mount aerial (November completion)
- a lime green chassis for an engine going to O’Hare (September completion)

todd, i heard rumors from evanston’s station 23 that they will be the ones getting the new rig and it will replace the FL/Wheeled Coach. no idea if this is true or not.

I sure hope the city finds a company to make new squads. I was at 42’s house the other day and squad one is running both spares and the snorkel is in pretty bad shape.

Any idea the make and model of the new ambo for evanston and where it is going? Also will the replacement of one of the frontline rigs mean amb 23 will get one of the internationals?

Is the new Spartan/Crimson engine planned for O’Hare replacing one of the two Pierces or is this going to be a newly created engine company?
