Itasca is in Dupage County which is represented by several divisions although their neighbors are in Division 12. Since the fire district borders and includes some of Cook County in the Northwest suburbs, they also belong to Division 1. They have been added to the site (minus 2 ambulances) and are accessible either through Division 1 or Division 12.

The Elk Grove Township Fire Department with all current apparatus (as of 9-2-09) has been added to Division 1. As mentioned in a previous post they have 2 new rigs in the works which are not yet featured. For those looking to visit the department and photograph their apparatus, the station is a bit off the beaten path across from United Airlines on Algonquin Road. Photography is a bit tricky for a week or so as they are having a new roof put on the fire station.
The 2 stations of the Wood Dale Fire Department have been added via Division 12. All of the current apparatus is displayed. Wood Dale has been listed as a member of Division 1 and Division 12 but they have recently withdrawn from Division 1 and will maintain their membership in Division 12. Their listing on this site in Division 1 has been removed.
