2002 Seagrave, 100′ ladder truck w/ 1500 gpm Waterous pump. Truck was taken out of service in June of 2024 due to delaminating frame members and would not pass annual certification process. The ladder was refurbished in 2018 and the hydraulic system was replaced in 2019. Not able to function as “fire department” vehicle but may be used for parts or other uses. WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!

LTFPD is proposing the construction of a new Public Safety Training & Maintenance Facility. This facility aims to provide high-level, realistic training for both fire and police departments, enhancing their ability to respond to various emergencies.

Key features include: All-Hazards Training: The facility will support training for structural firefighting, hazardous materials response, technical rescue operations, water rescue emergencies, auto extrication, search and rescue operations, emergency medical incidents, and cause and origin investigations.

Location: The proposed facility will be centrally located on the Stateville Property in Crest Hill.

Benefits: It will improve response times, provide space for emergency vehicle maintenance, and aim to become self-sustaining in the future.

Community Impact: The facility will enhance the safety and preparedness of emergency responders, benefiting the entire community.

The newest addition to the Huntley Fire Protection District a Toyne Fire Apparatus. A 2025 engine that carries 750 gallons of water and has a 1,500 gallon-per-minute pump. Engine 943 will be housed at Station 3 on Regency Parkway. Thank you to the members of our apparatus and tools and equipment committees for their hard work.
