Classic truck there. Single axle, full complement of ground ladders, no pump. Great rig! Nice pics!

This former Highland Park American LaFrance truck (ex-T31) was the one that the Evanston F. D. was hoping to purchase (cheap) in the 1990’s for use as a reserve truck, but decided not to do it after inspecting the rig and finding it to be unsatisfactory for use even as a reserve apparatus.
Instead, Evanston ended up purchasing a used 1990 Pierce Arrow / Smeal 105-ft RMA (ex-San Antonio F. D Truck 29), a rig whose main had been totaled after it collapsed during a testing mishap. (The aerial ladder was replaced with a new one and was sold to Evanston in 1998).
