Interesting. I’ll bet it would take some getting used to driving that one for the first time with that long hood.

Interesting rig, but aerial ladder does not appear to be a Geesink. Possibly a Memco or similar light duty ladder.

Remember this truck in black over red. Markham also had a FWD engine from this era in lime green. I don’t recall it any other color. They also had a 1972 or 1973 Seagrave Engine in yellow, that was repainted red over black. There was also a 1970’s Dodge/Seagrave minipumper that went from lime green to black over red. Lastly, this truck was replaced by a Ford/ LTI ( I think) that was white over lime green.

That truck and an engine of the same vintage were repainted from black over red. Markham also had a minipumper that went from lime green to red, and 1972 or 1973 Segrave that started yellow and got repainted black over red. The FWD/Geesink was replaced by a Ford/LTI ( if I recall) in white over lime.
