The Wheeling and Prospect Heights FIre Departments were called to the Crescent Cardboard Company at 100 West Willow Road Thursday evening for an industrial accident. Firefighters were called to extricate a worker’s arm that had been caught between the rollers of a machine that presses cardboard. Companies worked for close to 70 minutes to free the man’s arm. Flight For Life was called to transport the patient to the trauma center.
Tim Olk and Larry Shapiro went to the scene and documented the patient transport.
