Fire Service, Inc. would like to thank Fire Chief Gary Krienitz, Assistant Chief Mark Matkovich, and the City of Aurora Fire Department for their recent purchase of another Wheeled Coach Type 1 Ford F550 gas ambulance. Aurora has exclusively used Fire Service, Inc. and Wheeled Coach as their ambulance vendor of choice since 2010! This ambulance is customized to meet the operational requirements of the department, including a curbside forward entry and ergonomically located ALS cabinet, full aluminum interior cabinetry, patented Cool Bar HVAC system, Whelen emergency warning systems, and the Stryker Power Load System. With the IMMI controlled deceleration restraints, and the Safeguard Box Frame, Aurora will have the safest and strongest ambulances available. Innovations such as the AntiCor Protection System, with the ToughCoat Paint process, provide a revolutionary high-tech primer with adhesion and anti-corrosive properties never before achieved for a super tough, and long lasting finish. Full aluminum interior, highly sought after curbside forward design. With the Cool Bar HVAC system, Per4Max controlled decelerator restraints, extended module, Stryker Power Load and Whelen LED lighting and warning systems the safety and comfort of the occupants are realized. Fire Service, Inc. congratulates Chief Gary Krienitz and the Aurora Fire Department on the recent delivery of their latest Wheeled Coach Type 1 Ford F450 4×4 ambulance. This is the 8th Wheeled Coach Type I purchased by Aurora, finalizing the conversion of the entire AFD front line EMS fleet. The consistency of their custom interior design is enhanced with the Stryker Power Load system, and the conversion of the interior cabinetry to be CN-10 compliant. The IMMI Per4Max restraints offer fully retractable straps without sacrificing comfort and restriction. With the patented Cool Bar HVAC system and Whelen LED interior and exterior lighting and warning systems, Aurora remains prepared to offer their community consistent and safe EMS transportation for all missions. This purchase will complete the transition of the departments front line ambulance fleet to 100% Wheeled Coach. Chief John Lehman and A/C Don Davids of the City of Aurora FD, took delivery of their newest Wheeled Coach custom Type 1 AD ambulance. This is the third Wheeled Coach for Aurora. Featuring the Ford F450 Super Duty chassis, custom interior cabinets, Cool Bar HVAC system and Whelen exterior and interior LED lighting.
