This from Steve Redick:
Made it to this job at Lake & Homan yesterday … I arrived pretty early in the job (ahead of the squad). 1-story row of what looked like mostly vacant commercial occupancies, but the motocycle club looks like it may have been in use. From my vantage point it looked like the fire was in the cockloft over more than one occupancy. Lots of venting on the roof, and some forcible entry in the rear. Note the sign on the door of the motorcycle joint. Also shot a little video too … this was a done deal in very short order.Steve

Karl Klotz submitted the following:
On 4/3/2012 around midnight, Tinley Park was dispatched to a reported silo fire in the 7300 block of 191st Street in unincorporated Will County. Truck Co. 204 arrived to find an abandoned barn fully involved communicating to an attached silo. Engine Co. 202 hit the fire with their deck gun while crews advanced three handlines to extinguish the remains of the barn and a smaller shed nearby. Mutual-aid was received from Frankfort, Mokena, Country Club Hills, and Hazel Crest.

The Lockport Township Fire Protection District requested a 2nd Alarm MABAS Box today for a structure fire at a shopping center on Theodore street near Plainfield Road. The fire was in the end unit of a center that is undergoing remodeling. An Eagle Super Market was previously located in this center.
Darien-Woodridge FPD Lt. Jim Skrabel was nearby and submitted a few photos from the scene.
