The 2017 F-550 ambulance sitting behind BC-36 is Ambulance 37. When staffing permits its is a second ambulance out of Station 36. It also has a dual purpose as a reserve ambulance. It routinely gets rotated in front line. This is the reason PKRG opted not to number it.

PKRG requested the acquisition of Highwoods MABAS number (and approved) after Highland Park took over their Fire and EMS services.

I don’t understand why Squad 35 isn’t used really at all. Morton Grove Squad 4 goes out on all working fires, major accidents and mutual aid incidents. Seems like Park Ridge is wasting a piece of equipment.

Our reserve apparatus is A37 & E37. No longer use the “R” terminology.
Nice photos! Thanks!
