On 11-1-16 I was able to photograph Algonquin’s new quint, which was placed in service as Truck 181. The flag was raised above Algonquin PD to congratulate a police officer on his final shift and retirement.

I agree the bell is a nice touch. It will be interesting to see if they pass their referendum!

Rumor has it. Truck 181 will replace Engine 141 at Station 1 and then the current 141 will go to either Station 2 or 3 and one of those two engines will go to reserve status. It depends on if they pass their referendum or not.
