This from Steve Redick:
Wednesday, 8163 Lincoln Ave. A couple of interesting things here: response was compromised due to several ems calls occurring at the time of the alarm. The normal first-due units were delayed and the eastside company … furthest away was first to arrive. The IC realizing the delayed response ordered a box alarm before any units had arrived on the scene. Also noted was a wheelchair lift built on the front of the home which caused a rapid search. All residents, some disabled, were safely outside when I arrived. The fire seemed like it was going to heavily involve the attic and units were withdrawn for a time, but the incident was well in hand in pretty short order. Lighting was tough here as most good shots were badly back or sidelit.
