The Pierce haz-mat squad, numbered as squad 15, is sold and gone. It was replaced by a haz-mat squad owned by southwest haz-mat (mabas 19&22). It previously belonged to Braidwood FPD and is also on a Pierce chassis. It’s numbered as 6907. There is also 6907A which is a mini-pumper on a pick up truck chassis with an Eone body that previously served an airport near Hartford CT. It’s essentially a foam unit.
Eng 14, a Pierce Saber, and Tender 14, the Mack, are being replaced with a pumper/tender from Smeal. Both vehicles will be in service until later this year when the new rig arrives.
